too much ZWINKY!

In my lifetime I have seen about 20,000 zwinky advertisements. At first, it was no big deal, now; they pop up on every other website that’s opened. Their advertisements are interactive. You can dress the zwinky on the screen, but if you click on a specific article of clothing it takes you to their website. It’s a clever idea to have this, but it’s rather annoying. zwinky must have to pay a lot of money for their advertisements because they are on just about every teenage website on the internet. Zwinky uses a very attractive advertisement for people to go to their website. I mean, who doesn’t want to dress a cartoon doll? So while you’re trying to match the clothes, and fit them on you find yourself taken to their website, and if that advertisement has your attention, your curiosity of these cartoon figures will have you signing up on their website, and creating your own zwinky

old navy commercial

My sister Hannah and I were watching TV, when an ad for old navy clothes came on. Now, we both love old navy clothing, but their commercials have absolutely nothing to do with their clothing. The commercial we watched had a girl walking on a sidewalk, and taking pictures of herself. She was wearing this one-piece shorts, and shirt outfit, and it was chocolate brown, and the tint of the commercial was blue, so it made the outfit so dark you couldn’t even see the one outfit in the whole commercial. Overall it was a good commercial, but then when they flashed the OLD NAVY logo at the end, Hannah said "you couldn’t even see the clothes". So, I think they could have used a brighter lighting to display the outfit a little more clearly. The only question I had was: Was that even an outfit they have there? Because it wasn't very clear, and they didn't focus on the outfit. I’m not sure what they were trying to relate to, or what group of people they were advertising to, but it was one of the weirdest commercials ever.

the ugly ONE!!!(you wouldnt fully understand the title if you havent seen teen girl squad)

i Had to take this one in our windowless bathroom becuase there were lights on everywhere. I had him keep on his dark shirt so that it didnt stick out in the picture. Also, i had him hold the flashlight to illumintate his face like we did in clas. I wasnt sitting on the floor, but i was sort of squatting when i took the picture. I didnt want to take one of me taller that him for this because then, i think he wouldnt look as scary, or creepy as he does like this.

I can SEE the LIGHT!!!!!!!!!!

This is a picture of my sisters fiance, and hes a dork, so it didnt turn out that great. Anyways, i had a li ght above him to illuminate his face(didnt reallywork). I also was sitting on the floot when i took it so that he looked more powerful. I had him stand in fron of our tan walls because thatn the pictue would look less dark. hes wearing a dark colored shirt so that he doesnt blend into the walls.

SUPER TUESDAY!

http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/02/05/intl.supertuesdayvote/index.html
This is the article I read. This article sums up where every candidate stands in the election. They share who is the lead, who isn't, and who can hope to win. CNN shares their opinion a lot, and when you read it you just assume it to be fact. EX: "While last-minute polls on the Republican race indicated Romney has gained ground against McCain in California, Romney was expected to split races with Huckabee in the South, Republican strategist John Feehery said." they put in the words "expected" and "indicated". It never actually says that it happened. They try and plan out the whole election, and predict the outcome, when really it could go ten different ways. They don’t share anything bad about any particular candidate directly, but they use their own quotes to show their character, or the character the media wants to give them. They are not out to promote one side, but the whole election. They say good things about everybody. The only thing they don’t have that isn’t exactly positive is when they share a bit about Huckabee not be able to hang on, and they put in a quote about how he says he is going to stay in as long as he can, and never back out. This quote shows his determination, but it also sort of shows his losing position. They also have a bit about Romney; he said he was going to go all the way to the white house. It showed some determination, but also some overconfidence. The article also has videos you can watch to see the entire candidates vote on Super Tuesday.

The best super bowl commercial ever!!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJEVxfWpm7c
In the commercial it starts out with everyone sleeping, and they all fall asleep in whatever they are doing because they are trying to say “life is boring without diet Pepsi max.” Everyone wakes up with diet Pepsi max because it’s fun. They make it look fun and show a lot of people bobbing their heads because “everybody’s doing it, it’s so cool.” The music is upbeat, and catchy video is very memorable. This video makes you want to be like them, and bob your head too. They use repetition so that you remember what you just saw. You’re either sleeping or having a party while drinking diet Pepsi max. There are different scenes to show anyone can use it. They have people from office workers to ranchers drinking it. So no matter whom you are or what you do, you can drink it. There is no endorsement by a famous person, the endorsement is the people. The people are doing it, so you should join them. They don’t have any famous names or people on it because it’s better suited without it.
